The Municipality of Buenavista recently concluded its 12th Palayag Festival last January 20, 2019. Rizyl May Diamante of Brgy. Avila was crowned as Miss Buenavista Tourism 2019 and Hubon Tumandok of Buenavista National High School was hailed as the Grand Winner at the Hubon Festival Competition.
Rizyl May Diamante of Brgy. Avila bested 8 ladies and emerged as Miss Buenavista Tourism 2019. Jane Rose Badoles of Brgy. East Valencia emerged as the 1st Runner Up and Ryda Mae Tutong of Brgy. San Nicolas won the 2nd Runner Up title. Diamante also bagged the Best in Production Number, Best in Casual Wear, Best in Swimwear, Best in Talent, Best in Evening Gown, Miss Photogenic and People’s Choice Award. Ella Kyle Gabitanan of Brgy. Navalas bagged the Best in Interview.
Hubon Tumandok of Buenavista National High School emerged as the Grand Winner at the Hubon Festival Competition beating four participating Hubons. Hubon Agsadores of Agsanayan National High School bagged 2nd Place and Hubon Mananguete of Supang National High School took the 3rd place. Hubon Tumandok also bagged Best in Music, Best in Choreography, Best Choreographer, Best Performance, Best Costume and 2nd Place in the Street Dance Category while Hubon Agsadores won the Street Dance Competition.
